The Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment 3rd November 1915


3rd November 1915 – 

1st BattalionANNEZIN.
Ordinary Routine, 2 Lieut L.H. Bennett and 9 Other ranks joined the Battn.
2nd Battalion – Officers 24.    Other Ranks 809.
To Hospital 1.
Reinforcement 2/Lieut R.R. Burdon. 2/Lieut W.A. McCabe. Other Ranks 19.
2/4th Battalion GALLIPPOLI.
1/5th Battalion - As soon as numbers of Companies were known indents for stores were wired & were promptly complied with. A station board was ordered to assemble to assess the value of officer’s chargers to be purchased if required. Orders were received to take one suit of Khaki Home Service serge & one suit khaki drill.
1/6th Battalion – Remained in billets – Coys carried out two hours parade during the morning - & completed refitting.
7th Battalion – Some artillery activity on both sides.

8th Battalion – Bad weather prevented carrying on of training. Brigade Recreation room opened in barn in camp G.
