Battalion – GALLIPPOLI.

Battalion - As soon as numbers of Companies were known indents for
stores were wired & were promptly complied with. A station board was
ordered to assemble to assess the value of officer’s chargers to be purchased
if required. Orders were received to take one suit of Khaki Home Service serge
& one suit khaki drill.
1/6th Battalion
– Remained in billets – Coys carried out two hours parade during the morning -
& completed refitting.
7th
Battalion – Some artillery activity on both sides.
8th
Battalion – Bad weather prevented carrying on of training. Brigade
Recreation room opened in barn in camp G.
