The Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment 2nd November 1915

2nd November 1915 – 

1st Battalion – Relieved by 2/Ox & Bucks L.I. by 12 (noon). The Battn, marched back to ANNEZIN and went into billets. 
2nd Battalion – Officers 22.    Other Ranks 791.
Wounded (accidentally) 1.
To Hospital 5.
From Hospital 1.
2/4th Battalion GALLIPPOLI.
1/5th Battalion -7.30am Brig, Gen, Johnson commanding the ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW, and FYZABAD Brigade Areas inspected the Battn.
1/6th BattalionSAILLY LA BOURSE.
Remained in billets – it rained all day. Coys refitted with clothes & boots.
7th Battalion – Heavy rain all day greatly damaged trenches especially in TAMBOUR F3 a F3 b. Most of dugouts leaked badly. Much work on repairs necessitated. Enemy very inactive probably suffering in same way.

8th Battalion – Wet day -
