The Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment 11th July 1915



11th July 1915 – 

1st Battalion – Rest day, companies employed in cleaning up.
2nd Battalion – Officers 34.    Other Ranks 964.
1 Officer sick, (Lt, E.R.B. Furze).
To Hospital 6.
Church Parade.
1/6th BattalionIN THE TRENCHES
A quiet day. Rations were brought up by night (9.30 pm) to Bn Hqrs & issued to Companies – One water cart was brought up to Bn Hqrs & left there. Transport could not come up Headquarters by day _ and a hand cart was found very useful for bringing up baggage and stores up from MOTOR CAR CORNER.

Casualties - Wounded O.R. four.
