The Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment 28th April 1916

28th April 1916–

1st Battalion – Usual exchange of rifle grenades & T.M’s round R.W.F. craters – A little shelling on communication trenches. 1 killed, 3 wounded. In evening, gas reported on both flanks, but nothing came of it.
2nd BattalionBOIS des TAILLES.
Company parades – close order drill.
Battalion on fatigue.
Officers 35.    Other Ranks 904.
Wounded 3.
