works – Commanded by Lieut D.R. Heaton – 2 Platoons at R works commanded by
Captain R.J. Walpole – B Coy under Captain Martin – Counter Attack – nothing of
importance occurred – this day – with the exception that the Germans were
shelling – artillery position – about point – X West of the SUZANNE – MERICOURT
RD - & piece of shell – very slightly wounded – Pte Weston -

Battalion – A concert was given by the Bn in the Y.M.C.A. tent.
