Battalion - NASARIYEH LEFT BANK.
The Battn, was ordered out to make the first 4 miles of the
road from NASARIYEH to BUTANIYEH fit for wheeled transport under the direction
of Lt Col Ogilvy D.E.C. 12th Division the Battn, started at 7am & returned
to camp at 4pm.
1/6th Battalion
– Very Quiet day “D” Coy relieved “B” Coy in the DUCKS BILL & “B” went into
support very few rifle grenades over, evidently enemy relieved. Enemy again
shelled WINDY CORNER during the afternoon.
Casualties 3 wounded.
7th
Battalion – VILLE-SUR-ANCRE.
In billets nothing to record.
8th
Battalion – The Bn, remained in Camps & Dugouts as stated above.
