1st Battalion – Quiet day. 1 Coy of 17th R.Fusiliers attached for 24 hours.
2nd Battalion – Battalion
marched to billets at BOURECQ at 10.15am.

1/6th Battalion
– Remained in billets, training & Bombing classes continued. Musketry.
7th
Battalion –The Battalion relieved 8th East Surrey Regt in
sub-sector D3 by day. Thigh gum boots were used by all the men in trenches,
which had suffered severely from frosts & heavy rain & had become very
muddy. Sufficient steel helmets were available for use of sentries.
