The Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment 24th November 1915

24th November 1915 – 

1st Battalion – 2Lt J.G.S. Morrison and T. Stranger joined on 24th.
2nd Battalion – Officers 31.    Other Ranks 789.
To Hospital 1.
From Hospital Nil.
2 Lts Driver & Ford Kelsey joined Battn. Battalion marched to billets at LE HAMEL at 3.45pm & furnished working party of 5 Off, 200 men to work on defensive line E of FESTUBERT from 5 – 10pm. Weather cold. Rain evening.
2/4th Battalion GALLIPPOLI.
1/6th Battalion – Training continued. The Snipers & Companies used the rifle range and a lecture was given during the afternoon by the Brigadier General. A football ground was obtained & goal post put up.
7th Battalion – Artillery unusually active on both sides. 7 Buffs took over E 1 on Battalions left.
8th Battalion STEENVOORDE.

Battalion remained at STEENVOORDE.
