1st Battalion – Reinforcement of 50 other ranks joined. This a particularly good draft – practically all old time-serving men who have been wounded, with a good proportion of N.C.O,s.
2nd
Battalion – Officers 25.

The Battalion left BERGUETTE at about 1.30pm & marched
to billets at BELLERIVE.
1/6th
Battalion – Remained in billets. Church Parade. Officers again visited
Trenches as on 23rd.
2/4th
Battalion – During this period the Battalion was employed digging trenches
on and around LALA BABA and garrisoning the trenches by night.
7th
Battalion – Orders received that Battalion would relief 8th East
Surrey in sub-sector D 3 on 27-28th Oct. C Company relieved from
mining fatigue by Company of 7 Royal West Kent Regt for inspection parade.
8th
Battalion – Lt, Higham attached to 24th Divnl, Grenade School as
Instructor. 1 Officer and 5 O.R. from Batt, sent to the school. 4 Coy
Commanders & Major Piers visited new trenches which we are to take over.
