To Hospital 5.

Working party of 7 Officers & 317 Other Ranks improving front communication trenches.

1/6^th Battalion – LE BIZET.

Quiet day – found working parties as above.

2/4^th Battalion – ALEXANDRIA.

7^th Battalion – Training, more especially that of “specialists” carried on. First issue of “Smoke Helmets” was made, also bombs of various kinds for instructional purposes. 1 horse died & was replaced.
