The Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment 15th August 1916

15th August 1916 –

1st Battalion – Enemy inactive. Same as day before. Patrols the same.
2nd Battalion – Coy Training.
Details of strength.
Officers 29. O.Rks 839.
2 lieut G.R.B. Knight to England.
2/4th Battalion
1/5th Battalion
1/6th BattalionLEALVILLERS.
The battalion proceeded BUS & went into huts, No men fell out on the march.
7th Battalion – Quiet day & night. 2/Lts A.G. Gadd & G.L. Matthews joined the battalion for duty & were posted to C & A Coys respectively.
Casualties 1 O.R.
8th Battalion – The Bn remained at TALUS BOISEE.
10th Battalion – Normal.
