7th June 1916 –
1st Battalion – Ordinary routine.
All officers visited model of German trenches opposite Divisional front in
Bethune.
2nd Battalion – The
Battalion was relieved by the 1st S. Staffs in the afternoon,
marching our by companies to GRANTOWN. Half the Bn, sent on fatigue during the
night.

referred to was were isolated in two huts N of the lines.
