Battalion – The telegraph line having again been interrupted at the
same spot as on the 24th. Lieut Evetts & 50 rifles again went
down on the T 1 accompanied by the “snakefly” who shelled the village, about 1½
miles from the spot.
1/6th Battalion
– Very quiet during the day, enemy sent over some Trench Mortars during the
night supplied R.E’s with Miners fatigue during the day also men working under
R.E. on dug-outs.
Casualties 1 Killed 1 wounded.

8th
Battalion – The Bn, paraded at 9.15am to proceed to BRIGADE RESERVE in the
new trench area. Route – MT KOKEREELE-WESTOUTRE-LOCRE-DRANOUTRE.
Dinners at AIRCRAFT FARM at N.32 b.2.3. We relieved the 3rd
Canadian Battn.
The final distribution of Bn, was as follows:-
