Quiet day; no casualties; good patrol by Lt Symons. Lt
Carslake took over the post of acting Adjutant.
2nd Battalion – Very
quiet day. Subsector C1 on our immediate left was heavily trench-mortared &
shelled with 4’2”.

– Battalion remained in billets & continued cleaning up, 25 men per Coy

Battalion – Capt Sundau R.A.M.C, M.O to take over duties at base. Lieut
Anderson R.A.M.C. joined Bn & took over M.O. to the Battalion.
8th
Battalion – 3.30pm The Battn paraded to march to the new area. Route
– RENINGHELST-HEKSEN-WESTOUTRE-MT.KOKEREELE (R.16.d) sheet 27), The Bn, was
billeted at this last-named place.
