The Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment 26th February1916

26th February 1916–

1st Battalion – Little shelling with trench mortars.
2nd BattalionBRAY TO TRENCHES.
The Battalion relieved the 1st South Staffs, Regt, in the trenches. Relief complete 9.30am.
Officers 30.    Other Ranks 801.
2 to Hospital.
1/6th Battalion – Quiet night, Furnished working parties under R.E. Major S.T. Watson went to 8th R. Irish Fusiliers to take command.
7th Battalion – 2nd Bn Gordon Highlanders relieved 2nd Border Regt in D3.
