7^th December 1915 – 

1st Battalion – BETHUNE.

Ordinary routine. Inspection of last draft.

2nd Battalion – Company parades. Rain during day.

Officers 32.    Other Ranks 762.

To Hospital 1.

1/5^th Battalion - BASRAH.

Anchored in river just below BASRAH after uneventful voyage.

1/6^th Battalion – Remained in billets. Orders were received to march to GONNEHEM on the 8^th. Cleaned up billets and filled in trenches.

7^th Battalion – In billets nothing to record. Weather continued to be wet.
