The Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment 10th August 1915

10^th August 1915 – 

1st Battalion – Ordinary Routine.

2nd Battalion – Officers 31.    Other Ranks 1016.

To Hospital 7.

 1/6^th Battalion – Quiet day, remained in billets, rested all day.

2/4^th Battalion – Turkish trench

7^th Battalion – DERNANCOURT.

On night 10-11^th, a working party of D Company (Major H.C. Jeddere-Fisher) worked for 1½ hours in the trenches of 1^st Norfolk, under a desultory rifle fire. Good work done, no casualties.
